Village Information
Sarre is sited on the junction of roads leading from Canterbury, to north and south Thanet.
The village lies close to the river Wansum and was a crossing point when the Wansum was a wide channel and Thanet a true island. Sarre mill is a fully working smock windmill, which is open to the public.
